Mercedes Dawson is a freelance hairstylist, and makeup artist in Windsor-Essex County. Ever since she could remember, she has had a great passion for art, beauty, and fashion. When she was just 13 years old, she discovered her natural creative ability to transform, and uplift people using makeup, and hairstyling techniques. That realization was the catalyst that sparked her career.
Since becoming a licensed hairstylist and certified makeup artist in 2014, Mercedes has developed her skill set from in-class training, online courses, one-on-one mentorship, and attending beauty shows. She has participated backstage with Redken 5th Avenue at Toronto Fashion Week, where she gained incredible hair design knowledge.
Mercedes provides a wide range of services from haircutting and haircolouring, to hair treatments, and makeup artistry at Sage Salon and Spa — a beautiful upscale salon, located just outside of Tecumseh. She also provides travel services that include makeup, and hair design.
